At the ANAV Information Centre you can interactively learn about the operation and daily running on a nuclear power plant. By interacting with around 30 panels, the visitors have the opportunity to understand concepts related to energy, and specifically, nuclear energy, in a fun way.

Knowledge for everyone

Nuclear power is one of the main sources of electricity generation in Spain and a strategic tool in the fight against climate change. However, it is still a big mystery for many people. The Information Centre offers objective knowledge for everyone.

For everyone

The modules are suitable for visitors of all ages and backgrounds: secondary education students, university students, groups and the public at large.

The contents are presented in an interesting and educational way, enabling the visitors to dig into the general aspects of energy, such as sources, wave frequency and length, current or the operation of turbines; as well as into nuclear power knowledge: safety, the control room or nuclear fission, amongst others.

Raising Awareness

Positive Science

The Information Centre is the stage for Positive Science, a series of nuclear science and technology information videos presented by Ferran Tarrasa, a nuclear engineer at ANAV. Using a direct tone and with graphic animation support, the videos aim to help understand theoretical and practical energy concepts and to break down stereotypes about the daily running of nuclear power plants.
